Who are We?
Broken Wheel Western Adventures (formerly Camp Sagitawa Trail Rides) is a Christian camp that specializes in trail riding and camping opportunities for youth. Our camps are for ages 12 – 17 and are 7 – 10 days in length. We encourage campers to participate in our outdoor program that is designed to build skills, grow character, and provide opportunities to make new friendships while experiencing life in the beautiful outdoors.
What is Camp Like?
During their week of camp, youth will have the opportunity to ride horses, play games, sit around a campfire, hike in nature, and learn life lessons from the Bible.
Campers sleep in teepees under the supervision of a qualified staff member. Each day, three tasty and nutritious meals are prepared by qualified cooks. There is also a camp tuck shop where campers have access to snacks.
As the weather permits, campers will have the opportunity to interact with and/or ride horses each full day of camp. Please note that since we are an outdoor camp, during inclement weather, we stay in-camp to ensure the safety of campers, staff, and horses.
Where are We Located?
Trailride site is located in Clayhurst BC, 1 hour East of Fort St. John and North Dawson Creek, in the river valley of the Moose Creek.
Adventure Wild is up the Alaska Highway, west of the Buckinghorse River along the Nevis in the Northern British Columbia Rockies
