Staff

Do you love Jesus, youth, and being in the great outdoors? Then this is the place for you!!

We would like to invite you to join us in our mission to share the love of God and the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with local youth who come to camp.

Our mission is given by Jesus Himself in His Great Commission, “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Our program is based on the commitment of volunteers like you who are willing to work together as a team to care for the campers and ensure they have an awesome adventure during their time at camp.

Every position plays a vital part of making camp successful. And we believe that God has made and equipped every person with their very own gifts and abilities.

As our bodies have many different parts and each part has its own unique job and role to make the body function well, there are many different jobs at camp. Each job is equally important, yet unique. The smooth running of camp relies on many different people with many different gifts and abilities, who are ready and willing to serve wherever they are needed and able.

Staff Training is a vital part of developing a strong, unified team so we expect you to attend unless other arrangements are made. It is a time of practical training as well as time spent in prayer and biblical teaching in preparation for ministry.

If you have read this far, we are thrilled that you are interested in serving at camp this summer. Yet we are not able to do this on our own, so below is how you can get your own prayer support and financial sponsorship from your friends and families.

Sponsorship/Support

Thanks for your interest in volunteering your time to serve at camp this summer. We really appreciate all the energy and skills that you will bring to our team. However, we realize that by donating your time here, you will be foregoing the opportunity to work elsewhere to earn money you may need for living expenses, school tuitions etc.

As a way to earn back some of that money we have attached a link to a letter that explains our sponsorship program for you to give to your family, friends and/or churches and ask them to consider supporting you during your time serving at camp. They can either donate the money directly to you or else contact our office to transfer the funds through our system.

Prayer is also such an important element of successful ministry so we have included a section for you to fill out your own personal prayer requests for your friends and family to support you in that way as well.

This program is completely optional, but it gives you as an individual the opportunity to gain financial and prayer support during your time at Broken Wheel. Thanks again for your willingness to serve in this way.

Please fill out the appropriate application forms below and submit them.
